This is a great spot. The rooms were clean, air conditioned and safe. No sandy or sticky floors or surfaces. Not super fancy but we slept great and had the best shower pressure, especially after a day out on the water! We will book again because it was literally perfect for our little weekend adventures in the keys. The hostess was so sweet and gave us the best places to check out.

We had an amazing time here! The staff is SO SWEET, and they leave you alone! The most peaceful place I’ve stayed in a long time. Most importantly they don’t try to scam you for extra money like other motels in the area (like the sea dell motel)

I havebeen living here for 3 years. The managers are very pleasant. The manager Mr q is very polite and very well-mannered and caring. The workers here are very polite the property here can use a little work but is clean but and all I'm having a very pleasant stay.

The staff here are great, friendly and helpful with late check in. Very charming rooms, the ceiling is beautiful. Full size fridge/freezer, good water pressure and heat, the AC worked perfectly. I was happy with the value.

This place saved us. The owner is really nice and helpful! She really cares for the guests. She helped us out when we really needed a place to stay and had nowhere else to go. Her motel is clean, safe, beds are comfy enough, and is located close to all things in Marathon like the dolphin research center and the turtle hospital. We stayed 2 nights. We enjoyed a full sized fridge, a microwave, clean rooms, a shower, and simple accommodations. This motel is the most affordable, clean, and easiest place to stay in the Keys. Save money and stay here!

We stayed in Room A for a week which was equipped with everything we needed and was quite lovely. Price was also among the most reasonable of options during peak season. The host and staff were very pleasant and always checked in on us in passing to see if we needed anything. Great first trip to a Marathon / the Keys. Much gratitude! 😊 …

Siesta Motel is my new go-to on the way from Miami to Key West. Reasonably priced, better value than others in the Keys. Family owned and operated. No frills, only clean, comfortable, spacious rooms. Photos attached tell the story best: 1950's hotel that has renovations and upgrades, with more in the works. The Pepto-pink bath tile is there, but now has boutique-hotel-type amenity pump dispensers mounted along with quality fixtures. Beds and decor are updated but still no one is claiming resort-level here. Flatscreen TV. Ours, #7 Large Efficiency, had a kitchen that did great for morning sausage, eggs, and pancakes. For me it was perfect. Will be back.

I went to the Siesta Motel back in January. I didnt book the trip myself so I was a little concerned when I saw how low the price was, but I was very pleasantly surprised at how nice everything was. The rooms where clean and quiet, and the hospitality of the staff was over the top. I even got to know the owner and his family over dinner one evening. Solid group of people who really care! Definitely coming back. Also, I wanna know what you put in those burgers man, they where soooooo good. Thanks for the hospitality and Ill see you on the next go round. Brett Coman.

We had our camping plans fall through and ended up staying here for a full week. We were looking for something clean and affordable with AC. The lady who checked us in was very friendly and helpful for the whole week we were there. The room was small but it was clean and the AC worked perfectly. They had picnic tables for us to use our camp stove when we wanted to cook the fish we caught. The room had a microwave and a full sized refrigerator. Lots of reviews seem to complain about amenities, room size, and how dated the motel was. I was so happy that places like the Siesta still exist in the Keys. I can find expensive, resort hotels every 1/4 mile from Key Largo to Key West but the Siesta let us enjoy our week at VERY affordable rates so we could use our budget more toward excursions and charters. This motel (IN THE FLORIDA KEYS!) cost less per night than a very sketchy highway off ramp hotel in Tennessee or the Motel 6 where we stayed in northern Florida. The Siesta Motel was exactly what we needed and we felt fortunate to be able to stay there with no advance reservations.
